Weave by Adira

About

Drop in a PDF, Word file, or pasted text, and Weave reads it once to build a numbered index of headings, sub-clauses, and cross-references. You can then link any clause to another with a plain-language reason and follow those links to see how the agreement fits together. Every manual edit is versioned, and the marked-up contract can be exported to PDF or Word. Work stays in your browser until you choose to sign up and save it.

Competitors: Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Juro

Key Features

  • Reads an uploaded PDF or Word file once to build a numbered clause index
  • Highlights any line and attaches a note shown as a margin thread
  • Links one clause to another with a plain-language reason
  • Versions every manual edit so you can compare and roll back
  • Exports the marked-up contract to PDF or Word

Use Cases

  • Reviewing a vendor, SaaS, or services contract before signing it
  • Checking an NDA, MSA, or employment agreement clause by clause
  • Mapping obligations, deadlines, and cross-references across a long agreement

From the founder

Who it's for

“Founders, operators and small legal teams who need to check a vendor, SaaS, NDA, MSA or employment contract clause by clause, without buying a heavyweight contract suite or fighting Word track changes.”

Why I built it

“I'm Aditya, founder of Adira, a contract lifecycle platform from Ahmedabad. Contracts reviewed in Word or a PDF lose their structure: the clause that caps the indemnity is 20 pages away and your notes end up in an email. So we made the clause map, margin notes and clause-to-clause links free in Weave, with no signup. Adira is the paid side for drafting, approvals, e-sign and obligations.”
— Aditya Goel, founder of Weave by Adira

Who it is for

  • Founders reviewing contracts themselves
  • In-house counsel and legal teams doing contract review
  • Small teams negotiating vendor or services agreements
