How it works

  1. 1

    Paste a URL

Enter any public landing page. We score mobile by default (most landing traffic).

  2. 2

    Press analyze

We run Lighthouse (often two passes), pull Chrome UX field data when available, and check CTA / form / social proof signals.

  3. 3

    Read and share

You get an overall grade, lab + field metrics, landing signals, and a copyable share link for the report.

What the Landing Page Analyzer checks

This free tool runs your landing page through checks across four Lighthouse categories, Chrome UX Report field data when available, and landing-page conversion signals.

  • Speed & Performance — LCP, CLS, TBT (lab) plus real-user field metrics when Google has enough samples.
  • Search Engine Optimization — title, meta, crawlability, headings, alt text and link text.
  • Best Practices — HTTPS, console errors and security hygiene.
  • Accessibility — contrast, labels, ARIA and assistive-tech readiness (including mobile viewport signals).
  • Landing page signals — primary CTA, lead form, social proof and hero headline clarity.

How the overall score is calculated

Your overall score is a weighted average: Performance 30%, SEO 30%, Best Practices 25%, Accessibility 15%. Fresh runs may median two Lighthouse passes. If Lighthouse is down, overall uses SEO / best practices / accessibility only and labels any performance number as an estimate.

How to improve your score

Start with the top recommendations. The biggest wins usually come from page speed (compress images, reduce JavaScript), missing SEO elements (meta description, alt text), mobile usability (viewport, tap targets), and a clear CTA with social proof above the fold.

What this does not do

  • Scores prefer Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse lab). When Google has enough Chrome UX Report data, we also show real-user field metrics (LCP, CLS, INP).
  • Fresh analyses may run two Lighthouse passes in parallel and use the median category scores to reduce lab noise. Repeats of the same URL within 24 hours are served from cache.
  • If PSI is unavailable, overall grade uses on-page SEO, best practices and accessibility only. Any performance number shown is an estimate and is excluded from the grade.
  • Landing page signals (CTA, form, social proof, hero copy) are HTML heuristics. JavaScript-only content may not be detected.
  • Mobile and desktop use different device and network simulations, so scores often differ.
  • The overall score is weighted: Performance 30%, SEO 30%, Best Practices 25%, Accessibility 15% (renormalized if a category is excluded).

Frequently asked questions

What is a good landing page score?
A score of 90 or above (grade A) means your page follows best practices across speed, SEO, best practices and accessibility. Scores between 70–89 are decent but have room to improve. Below 70 means there are significant issues that can hurt conversions.
Is this tool free?
Yes, completely free. No signup required. Enter your URL and get results. We use Google’s Lighthouse engine via PageSpeed Insights when available, plus Chrome UX Report field data when Google has enough samples.
How is the overall score calculated?
Weighted average of four category scores: Performance (30%), SEO (30%), Best Practices (25%), and Accessibility (15%). Each category is scored 0–100, then combined into your overall grade. On HTML fallback, estimated performance is shown but excluded from the grade.
What is the difference between lab and field metrics?
Lab metrics come from a single Lighthouse run under controlled conditions. Field metrics come from Chrome UX Report data about real visitors. Field data is often a better picture of what users experience; lab data is better for diagnosing what to fix.
Can I share my report?
Yes. After an analysis, use Copy share link. Anyone with the link can open the same report for about as long as we retain it.
Why does my page score differently on mobile vs desktop?
Mobile and desktop use different simulated devices and network speeds. Mobile tests simulate a mid-range phone on a slower connection, so performance scores are typically lower. Since most visitors browse on phones, we default to mobile analysis.
How can I improve my landing page score?
Start with the top recommendations. Biggest wins usually come from page speed, missing SEO elements, mobile usability, and conversion signals like a clear CTA and social proof.
