Every time I run Windows' native storage scanner, I keep craving the answer: what exactly is consuming most of my disk space? I miss the simplicity of `ncdu` on Linux. I wish something similar was available for Windows. That is why I built Drive Sonar because I wanted a clean, fast way to map out disk usage without dealing with clunky UI tools or needing admin/root access to scan directories. It scans the local storage paths, showing you where large folders and bloated files are hiding using interactive visual charts (treemaps, file type histograms, and size vs. age scatter plots).
