About
Grounnel is a free fact-checker with no signup. Paste a text (best around 350 words, up to 40 claims per run). It extracts the factual claims, searches the web for each one, and marks every claim in place as supported, partially supported, contradicted, unsupported, unverifiable, or excluded, with the source passage and URL beside it. "Supported" means a source we found agrees, not that the claim is proven true. It is built to avoid calling a true sentence false, and it would rather miss something than guess. Every run gets a public share link. Public alpha since September 2026, built by one developer. Good for student essays, news drafts, research papers, blog posts and AI-generated text.
