About
Devlens turns your React and Next.js codebase into an interactive visual graph, helping you understand architecture, dependencies, and feature flows without digging through files. It’s especially useful for onboarding and PR reviews, where understanding the impact of changes is critical.
Use Cases
- Visualize React/Next.js codebases as interactive graphs to identify architectural bottlenecks and circular dependencies
- Use the dependency visualization during PR reviews to show reviewers exactly which components and modules are affected by proposed changes
- Onboard new developers faster by giving them an interactive visual map of your codebase architecture instead of forcing them to read through scattered files
- Explore feature flows visually to understand how data and logic move through your React components without manually tracing imports
- Analyze your Next.js app structure to identify unused code, isolate feature boundaries, and plan refactoring efforts with confidence

Also Many people told me that the blast radius feature is the MOAT of devlens as it is really helpful in the PR review.
replying to Launch Llama: I noticed that my friends and other developers who are using tools like cursor and claude code are facing the blackbox issue, that is even though the LLM writes good code but they dont know how the LLM has written code basically they dont have understanding of their own codebase due to which debugging takes lots of time, So to solve this I thought of building codebase visualizer which does not utilizes much tokens and gives clear understading of the Codebase.
Replying to SlipStream : Mermain Diagrams are good for understanding static and small part of codebase. What I’m trying to solve is more around navigating and reasoning about larger, evolving systems in a more interactive way. The feature of the PR review and blast radius are something which of c claude can do but it takes huge amount of tokens, even if in a team a new dev comes, he can understand the codebase via devlens much better as compared to exhausting token limits of claude.
How does this compare to asking claude for mermaid diagrams?
