How founders use this

Ship a first sitemap the same day you launch, then re-run after adding docs or a blog. Follow with the sitemap and robots validator so Google is not blocked.

What this does not do

  • Discovers URLs from public HTML, robots.txt, and an existing sitemap. It is not a full recursive crawl of every URL on a large site.
  • Capped at 80 URLs. Login, cart, checkout, and asset files are skipped.
  • Does not prove each URL returns HTTP 200. Validate after you upload.
  • JavaScript-only routes that never appear as links in HTML will be missed.

Is this sitemap generator free?
Yes. Paste a public URL, download sitemap.xml, and host it. No signup.
Where do I put sitemap.xml?
At the site root, https://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml. Add Sitemap: https://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml to robots.txt.
Does it crawl my whole website?
No. It discovers public pages from HTML, robots.txt, and any existing sitemap, up to 80 URLs. That is enough for most early product sites.
Will Google accept this sitemap?
It uses the standard urlset format. After you upload it, submit the URL in Google Search Console and run our sitemap validator.
Why are some pages missing?
Pages that only exist behind JavaScript, login, or unlinked URLs are not found. Add those loc entries yourself or link them from a public page and regenerate.
