Put llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and llms-developers.txt at the site root and link them in the footer.
What each file is for
llms.txt is a short index (the llmstxt.org convention). llms-full.txt adds page excerpts. llms-developers.txt is for APIs, docs, MCP, and OpenAPI URLs.
How founders use this
Ship the three files the same week you launch docs. Agents that fetch /llms.txt stop guessing from an empty SPA shell.
What this does not do
- Built from public HTML and well-known paths (/docs, /api, /openapi.json). It cannot invent an API that is not linked.
- SPA shells with empty first HTML will produce a thin brief. Pair with the JavaScript SEO checker.
- You still have to host the files at the site root. This tool does not upload them.
- Not a substitute for OpenAPI or real docs. It is an index so agents know where to look.
