FAQ
What is an autonomous website?
An autonomous website keeps improving after launch instead of going stale. AI agents write content, fix SEO, translate pages, and check every deploy, on a schedule you set. Each change lands in a branch for your review. Fimo gives you one on top of your own code.
How is Fimo different from an AI website builder?
Most AI website builders generate a site and stop there. Fimo picks up after the build: your team edits content without code, agents keep the site improving, and everything ships from your own repo. You get the actual code, not an export.
Do I own the code?
Yes, fully. Your site is real code in a repo you control, and every edit, agent change, and deploy lands there as a clean commit. No lock-in and no export button to hope for. Take your site anywhere, any time.
What do the agents actually do?
Whatever you brief them to do. Audit your SEO every Monday. Scan competitors every two weeks and flag what changed. Draft a blog post every two days, translated and SEO-checked. Each agent runs on its own schedule, works in its own branch, and leaves a report, a preview, and a diff. You review, then merge.
Do I need to install anything to try it?
No. Sign up and you land in a Welcome project you can edit right away. When you want your own site, connect your coding agent: it runs npx fimo@latest init and deploys the first preview.
Can I keep using my AI coding tools?
Yes. Build and change your site with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or any coding agent. Fimo works on top of the same repo, so your tools, your team, and your agents all edit one source of truth.
What is the difference between Free, Pay as you go, and Pro?
Free is for building and trying things: up to 3 projects and 3 members, 5,000 credits, 1 agent-hour, and 5 GB a month at no cost, with manual and scheduled agent runs, 1-day history, and community support. Add a card and you are on Pay as you go: 3 agent-hours, unlimited projects and members, custom domains, event-triggered agent runs, 30-day history, 6-month analytics, standard support, and usage beyond the allowances metered at $2.00 per 1,000 credits, $0.75 per agent-hour, and $0.15 per GB, with no monthly fee. Pro is $149 per month for the whole organization: 35,000 credits, 40 agent-hours, and 200 GB included, lower rates beyond that, 90-day history, 1-year analytics, a 99.9% uptime SLA, and priority support.
How do AI credits work?
1,000 credits are $1 of AI hosted by Fimo: autonomous agent runs, edits made in Fimo Studio, and image generation. Building your site with your own coding agent runs on your own subscription and never uses credits. Free and Pay as you go include 5,000 credits a month, and Pro includes 35,000. Beyond the included amount, credits are $2.00 per 1,000 on Pay as you go and $1.00 per 1,000 on Pro.
What is an agent-hour?
When an agent works on your site it gets its own environment: a sandbox, a database branch, and a copy of your assets. An agent-hour is one hour of that environment being active. A typical run keeps it for about 30 minutes. Editing in Fimo Studio is never metered. Free includes 1 hour a month, Pay as you go includes 3, and Pro includes 40. Beyond the included amount, runtime is $0.75 per hour on Pay as you go and $0.33 per hour on Pro.
What does bandwidth include?
Everything it takes to serve your site: requests, image optimization, server functions, incremental regeneration, and builds. One number, no separate hosting meters. Free and Pay as you go include 5 GB a month, and Pro includes 200 GB. Beyond the included amount, bandwidth is $0.15 per GB on Pay as you go and Pro. The fine print, including fair use, storage, and database compute, is in the documentation.
