Ran an MSP for years and kept hitting the same wall. Every uptime tool was built for one company watching its own stuff, or priced per-monitor in a way that punished you for having 40 clients. None would let me put a dashboard in front of a client with my name on it. So I self-hosted Uptime Kuma per client. Works fine until you want one view across everything, or you want to know whether a check actually failed or the probe box just lost its uplink. Ensju is the thing I wanted to exist. Multi-region checks so one bad network path doesn't page you at 2am, client-tenant separation, white-label so an MSP can hand it straight to their customer. No team, no funding. Just me and 25 years of getting woken up by monitoring that was wrong.
