Why a sandboxed preview

The preview renders inside an iframe sandbox with scripts allowed but same-origin access denied, so pasted code cannot read cookies, local storage, or anything else from this site. That keeps it safe to paste HTML from anywhere, including code you did not write yourself.

What this does not do

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to or stored on our servers.
The preview runs inside a sandboxed iframe, so it cannot read cookies or storage from other sites, and some browser APIs are restricted.
This renders markup you provide. It does not fetch external pages, crawl URLs, or validate HTML against a spec.

Can I paste a full HTML document or just a fragment?

Both work. A full document with <html> and <head> renders as-is; a bare fragment renders inside the browser’s default HTML wrapper.
