About
YingTu is a browser-based AI image and video playground for creators and developers. It lets users test and compare supported prompts, reference inputs, image sizes, video durations and resolutions, task status, and downloadable outputs before integrating an API route. Opening the playground is free; generation requires a valid API key and follows the active account and route rules.
Use Cases
- Generate or edit AI images with Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 or Seedream, paying per image from $0.018 with no subscription
- Split an existing image into a filled background plus transparent PNG layers, or build a layered PSD, using Seedream 5.0 Flash
- Test image model outputs in a browser playground before moving the same LaoZhang API call into your own script
Who it is for
- Creators who want to generate, restyle or edit images without a monthly AI subscription.
- Developers who want to validate AI image outputs in a browser before integrating the API.
- Designers who need layered PSD or transparent-layer exports from a single generated image.
Pricing
Pay per image, billed by LaoZhang from $0.018 to $0.12 per image with no subscription. New users who sign in with Gmail get $0.1 of free credit for 30 days.

FAQ
Is YingTu free?
You can try it for free. New users who sign in with Gmail get $0.1 of credit (500 grants a day) for 30 days, enough for about 1–5 Seedream, Nano Banana or GPT Image images (not layer decomposition or video). After that, add your own LaoZhang API key and pay per image. By model, that is about 1 Nano Banana Pro image, 2 Nano Banana 2.1 images, 3 GPT Image 2 images or 5 Seedream images.
How much does one image cost?
Between $0.018 and $0.12. Seedream 5.0 Flash is $0.018, Seedream 5.0 Pro $0.12, Nano Banana 2 Lite $0.025, GPT Image 2 VIP and GPT Image 2.5 Flare / Sunburst $0.03, Nano Banana 2 $0.055 and Nano Banana Pro $0.09. There is no subscription; LaoZhang bills each image separately. Nano Banana 2.1, the studio's default model, is $0.045.
How do I pay?
You don't pay YingTu directly. You top up a balance on laozhang.ai and each image is deducted from it. The top-up page takes cards through Stripe and also accepts USDT, and businesses can pay by bank transfer through LaoZhang support; the top-up page shows the methods available right now (LaoZhang docs, checked September 24, 2026).
Is YingTu an official Google or OpenAI product?
No. YingTu is an independent studio that calls these models through the LaoZhang API. Nano Banana models are Google Gemini image models and GPT Image models use an OpenAI-compatible Images API; prices and availability follow LaoZhang. The official homes are Google's Gemini app and Google AI Studio for Nano Banana Pro, and ChatGPT and the OpenAI API for GPT Image 2. YingTu is run by YINGTU TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore; you never pay YingTu itself, so you can test with the free credit before topping up a LaoZhang balance.
Can I use GPT Image 2 without ChatGPT Plus?
Yes. YingTu runs GPT Image 2 VIP (gpt-image-2-vip) at $0.03 per image with no ChatGPT Plus subscription, which also helps when you hit ChatGPT's free image limit. The $0.1 Gmail trial covers about 3 GPT Image 2 images; after that, each image is deducted from your LaoZhang balance.
Does YingTu support 4K?
Yes, on some models. Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro go up to 4K, GPT Image 2 VIP and 2.5 offer 30 exact sizes from 1K to 4K, Seedream 5.0 Flash tops out at 2K, and Nano Banana 2 Lite is fixed at 1K.
Can I edit an existing image?
Yes. Upload up to 5 reference images (20MB each) and describe the change; all 9 image models support reference edits. Check faces, logos and text at full size before you use the result.
Where are my API key and images stored?
In your own browser. Your API key is kept in local storage and your generation history in IndexedDB; YingTu servers do not save your key or keep a cloud history. Google sign-in creates a session and stores your account ID, name, email and avatar to issue the free credit.
What is layer decomposition?
It splits one image into a filled-in background plus transparent PNG layers for elements such as text, people and products. It runs on Seedream 5.0 Flash (or Pro). Each output image costs $0.018, usually 6–17 images or about $0.1–0.3 per run. Export a layered PSD (optionally with the text as editable type) or a ZIP of PNGs.
Can I make videos on YingTu?
Yes. Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 and Wan 2.7 each have their own video studio. They need your own LaoZhang key for that model group, are billed by usage and are not covered by the free credit.
