About
Places are ranked by Google rating weighted by review volume, and a chain appears once with its best branch. Review Bites distill pros, cons, and tips from customer experiences, while the Cheat Sheet counts how often each restaurant dish is praised versus criticised. Neighborhood guides cover areas from Deira and JVC to Dubai Marina and Al Barsha, and the service is currently in beta.

From the founder
Who it's for
“Anyone in Dubai, residents and visitors, choosing a restaurant, salon, clinic or any local service who wants the short version of what customers actually say, without reading hundreds of reviews.”
Why I built it
“I'm Bob, ex-Amazon Product Manager. Most reviews say vague things like "good service", and the useful details get buried. So I built DXB Local: AI reads the public reviews of each business, 1.2 million+ so far, and publishes only what many customers agree on, as short Pros, Cons and Tips. Free, no sign-up.”
Who it is for
- Residents and visitors deciding where to eat, shop, or get services in Dubai
- Diners who want to know which dishes to order before visiting a restaurant
