[discuss] What Makes a Small Online Tool Actually Useful?

I have been thinking about what makes a small online tool worth using, especially when there are already so many tools available for almost every task. From a user perspective, I think simplicity matters a lot. If someone only needs to complete one specific task, they may not want to install software, create an account, or learn a complicated interface. A focused web tool can sometimes solve that problem much faster. I work around digital and online tools, so I regularly research different types of tools and how people actually use them. One area I have recently explored is online media tools, including SanpTikk.io, which is focused on helping users save TikTok videos for offline use. What I find interesting is that even a very specific tool can be useful when it solves a clear problem and keeps the experience straightforward. But building something simple is not necessarily easy. You still have to think about speed, mobile usability, reliability, privacy, and whether people will actually return to the tool. For the founders and makers here, I am curious: What do you think is more important for a small online product: solving a very specific problem extremely well, or offering several related features in one place? And how do you usually decide whether an idea is worth building in the first place?
