About
The Story Behind Send A Vent
I'll never forget the night this idea was born. I was watching the news — enforcement operations sweeping through communities across the country, ordinary people caught up in a system that was moving too fast to hear them. Due process, the thing that's supposed to protect everyone, was breaking down in front of a national audience. I sat there and cried. And then I decided that instead of just being angry about it, I would build something.
But to understand why Send A Vent had to exist, you have to go back a little further, to a courtroom in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
In 2026, a dispute with my landlord turned into an inflated $4,100 legal claim dropped in my lap. I couldn't afford an attorney — like most everyday people, I was priced out of real legal help the moment I needed it most. So I did the only thing I could: I documented everything. Every text, every ledger, every repair request, every interaction. I organized my case, stood up in court, represented myself — and won. The $4,100 vanished, and I walked out with a signed agreement on fair terms.
Winning felt incredible. But driving home, the victory started to feel hollow, because one thought kept playing on a loop in my head: I should not have had to represent myself in court. Nobody should. That single sentence is the reason this app exists. That experience proved to me how unfair and terrifying dispute resolution is for ordinary people — and how much of it comes down to skills nobody teaches us: documentation, framing, negotiation, and staying regulated when everything in you wants to scream.
So I built Send A Vent (sendavent.com) to give everyone those skills — to take the raw, angry, frustrated thing we all feel in a dispute and turn it into something that actually gets resolved:
AI Gut Check — you pour out the vent, and the AI translates it into a calm, professional, effective message that gets taken seriously.
Certified mail with QR-verified delivery proof — your message arrives documented, accountable, and impossible to ignore.
FairPath AI micro-arbitration — both sides walk through three scored resolution paths, so a dispute becomes a decision instead of a war.
Agreement Vault — final settlements stored securely, so the resolution sticks.
Send A Vent works for the disputes that never reach a lawyer's desk: landlords and tenants, contractors and homeowners, businesses and customers, neighbors, organizations — even the civic frustrations that usually just end up as rage-typing on social media. That's why there's also a Daily Pulse — a nonpartisan daily digest of actionable community issues, because an informed community is one that resolves instead of rages.
And the platform is deliberately nonpartisan. It doesn't see red or blue. It sees problems and resolution. My long-term vision is a transparency layer where public officials have verifiable profiles and everyday people can communicate with them in a structured, respectful way that actually gets heard — not gotcha politics, just accountability that works for everyone.
We've all been there: the moment you're so fed up that you either explode or give up. I built the third option. Don't just vent. Get it resolved.
I'd love for you to try it — your first downloaded vent is free.
Make it a Great Day!

Social media at times can be a bit toxic as it feeds into the rage...This platform has a focus on finding common ground solutions and being able to take action.
