FAQ
Is AgentSwarms really free right now?
Yes — while we’re in beta, the platform is free with a generous AI usage credit on the AgentSwarms AI Gateway. There are daily request caps because AI inference and image generation cost real money and demand has been incredible.
What happens when beta ends?
There will always be a free tier with included AI usage credits so you can learn end-to-end. A Pro plan will be introduced with larger gateway credits and higher limits. BYOK stays available on both tiers. Pricing for Pro hasn’t been decided yet, and we’ll communicate it well before anyone is charged.
What happens if I hit the daily AI usage cap?
You can come back after the daily reset, or plug in your own provider key (BYOK) on the Integrations page — BYOK is available for free during beta and has no AgentSwarms-imposed daily cap. When Pro launches, you’ll also be able to upgrade for larger included gateway credits.
Can I use my own API keys (BYOK) today?
Yes. BYOK is available for free during beta. Add a key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Azure, OCI, Qwen, or Grok on the Integrations page and your agents will use it — no AgentSwarms-imposed daily cap, and you pay your provider directly at their rate.
Will my saved agents, swarms, and data survive after beta?
Yes. All your work stays. "Beta" refers to features still being added and pricing being finalised — it doesn’t mean anything is temporary or about to be deleted.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Every lesson, agent, and swarm runs through the UI. Code examples are shown so engineers can transfer the patterns to their own stack, but you don’t need to write any code to learn.
Is there a Teams plan?
Not right now. We’re focused on individual learners and builders. We’ll consider team features later based on what users actually ask for.
