About
QuietRecap is a consent-first meeting assistant for founders and small teams. Its desktop app captures supported Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet calls locally—without adding a visible bot—only after participants are notified and permission is granted. It turns meeting audio into timecoded transcripts, summaries, decisions, and action items with owners, due dates, and source evidence. Review the evidence, then send trusted follow-through to Slack or Asana. QuietRecap is built for teams that want useful meeting notes without a distracting meeting participant or black-box automation.
Pricing
QuietRecap offers a free plan plus paid tiers. See the website for current pricing.
Founder story
I work for a small company, and we regularly find ourselves in big meetings with long-standing corporate clients whose approach to new technology is best described as cautious—with a capital C. A visible meeting bot tends to raise questions before anyone has even said hello. QuietRecap avoids that awkwardness: there’s no mysterious robot joining the call, just a desktop app quietly capturing the audio in the background. We still get everyone’s consent, of course. But once that’s handled, the technology can do its job without becoming the most interesting person in the meeting.
