Describe what you want in words (text-to-music), upload an image (image-to-music), or provide a video clip (video-to-music), and our AI models — including Google Lyria 3.5 — will generate a unique track for you.

Our AI models are trained on vast amounts of musical data and understand musical structure — melody, harmony, rhythm, and instrumentation. When you write a prompt like "upbeat electronic track with synth arpeggios," the model interprets your description and generates an original composition. The result is a fully formed piece of music you can download and use.

There's no free trial, but there is a $1 way in. New accounts can buy the Starter Pack once: 5 songs (30 credits) for a one-time $1 payment — not a subscription — valid for 30 days with MP3 downloads included. After that, choose a plan that fits your needs starting at $9.99/month.

Credit costs depend on the track duration: 30 seconds costs 6 credits, 60 seconds costs 9 credits, 90 seconds costs 12 credits, and 120 seconds costs 15 credits. The Starter plan ($9.99/mo) gives you 250 credits (~42 songs), Standard ($19.99/mo) gives 700 credits (~117 songs), and Master ($29.99/mo) gives 1,000 credits (~167 songs). Those figures are for the base models; Lyria 3 Pro costs 12 credits and Lyria 3.5 costs 18 credits per 30-second take, scaling the same way with duration.

FreeSongMaker runs Google's Lyria family. Lyria 3.5 is the flagship: full songs up to 3 minutes with more expressive vocals, better lyrics and precise tempo control. Lyria 3 Pro also makes full songs with lyrics and image-to-music; Lyria 3 Clip is a fast 30-second take with lyrics; Lyria 3 is a real-time instrumental model with BPM, key and instrument controls. You pick the model for each generation.

Yes. Starter plan users receive a personal use license. Standard and Master plan users get a commercial license that covers use in YouTube videos, podcasts, social media content, and other projects. Please refer to our Terms of Service for full licensing details.

Our AI models support a wide range of genres including Pop, Rock, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Classical, Ambient, Cinematic, Lo-fi, R&B, Folk, and many more. You can also describe specific moods, instruments, and musical structures in your prompt for highly customized results.

Generated tracks are available as MP3 downloads. Standard and Master plan users also get access to high-quality WAV format and batch download capabilities.

If you haven't used any of the credits from a purchase, you can get a full refund within 14 days; if you've used some, we refund the unused portion pro-rata. Credits from failed generations are restored automatically. See our Refund Policy for details. New accounts can also start with the one-time $1 Starter Pack before choosing a subscription.

You can manage your subscription from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing.
