About
Reviewers, including clients on free seats, pin comments directly onto the real page, so each thread arrives tied to the exact element and source line. Comments are classified automatically as bug, feedback or idea, and the threads are exposed through an MCP server. Claude Code, Cursor or Codex can read them, fix the matching file, and reply on each thread with a link to the commit.
Key Features
- Annotate any element on a live page, from prototype to production
- Automatically classify each pinned comment as bug, feedback or idea
- Let clients join as free reviewers and pin feedback to elements
- Expose feedback threads to coding agents over MCP
- Reply on each thread with a link to the commit that fixed it
Use Cases
- Pinning feedback on a live prototype so designers and clients can see exactly which element to change before handoff
- Passing annotated page issues to Claude Code, Cursor or Codex so a coding agent can fix the right file and reply when done
- Collecting copy, bug and design feedback on a marketing site's pricing page and resolving each thread with a linked commit
Who it is for
- Freelancers, product teams, studios and agencies reviewing websites and prototypes
- Agency clients who review builds as free reviewers and pin feedback themselves
- Developers and coding agents that read feedback threads over MCP and fix them in code
Pricing
Plans include Pro at $29/month and Team at $59/month, with a Start free option. Yearly billing is also offered.
FAQ
Do reviewers cost anything?
No. Clients and stakeholders join as reviewers, and reviewers are free on every plan. You pay for owners, admins and collaborators.
Can clients leave feedback without an account?
Yes, on Pro and above. Turn on guest feedback for a project and share a review link or the project's code. Guests type their name and pin comments like anyone else, see only their own threads, and take no seat.
What's the difference between paid seats and reviewers?
Paid seats (owners, admins and collaborators) run the work: they create projects, invite people, assign threads and hand them to a coding agent. Reviewers pin, reply and resolve any thread, but can't assign work, create projects or invite.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Create an account, install the Chrome extension, open a page and press C. No code changes are needed.
Do I need Skyelight Build on every project?
No. The Chrome extension works on any page without it. Add Skyelight Build to the projects where you want each pin to carry its source file, line, commit and branch, and where reviewers should get the review badge instead of installing the extension. It's one command.
Is the Skyelight MCP free to use?
Yes. Every plan includes the Skyelight MCP and the REST API. Pins and threads are unlimited on every plan. On Free, your agent gets 25 agent threads a month: each conversation counts one when your agent first looks at Skyelight, and each thread it opens, replies on or resolves counts one more, once a month. Pro and Team have no limit.
Which coding agents work with Skyelight?
Any MCP client, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, claude.ai and ChatGPT. Skyelight is listed in the official MCP Registry. Agent access is included on every plan, with no limit on Pro and Team.
Does it work with my Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
Yes. In ChatGPT, add Skyelight from the plugin directory. In Claude Code, type /plugin and install Skyelight. In claude.ai, add Skyelight from Claude's connector directory. Each one asks you to sign in to Skyelight the first time.
Does it work on staging, previews and pages behind a login?
Yes. The Chrome extension works on any page you can open in Chrome. The review badge runs on the preview addresses you list for a project, and Vercel previews behind Deployment Protection work with a bypass secret.
What does Skyelight capture, and is my data used to train models?
Each thread saves the element, the URL, a redacted snapshot of the markup around it, the browser, and any errors, console warnings or failed requests from just before the pin. Private data stays out: form values, passwords and payment fields are never included, query strings, email addresses and access tokens are removed before anything is sent, request content and cookies are never read, and in screenshots every form field is painted out before the image is stored. Anything else you want hidden can be marked to be left out. Skyelight doesn't use your threads to train models.
